Willowbank Visits Room 8

Thanks to Paige, who won a competition for Willowbank to visit her class. 

We were lucky enough to have Jan from Willowbank visit and she talked about Kiwis and Tuataras. 

I know we all learnt something interesting about each animal.

Hockey Session 3

 We always have a great time on Tuesday at Hockey.  

It is great to see all of Room 8 being actively involved during PE time.

Fifa World Cup Day

We had a fantastic day on Friday with the Fifa World Cup Event. We all played Soccer against the Middle Syndicate in small teams, which was great fun.  Room 8 won best-decorated classroom, where we were given chocolates, popcorn and a movie next term. Within Room 8, Miss Gill awarded best-dressed girl to Lydia and best-dressed boy to Isaac. Our runner-ups were Denver and Jonathan. Well done to everyone who dressed up, you all looked fantastic. Everyone agreed that Miss Gill looked like Santa Claus and we all had a fun filled day with much excitement.

First Holy Communion

Congratulations to all the students who received their 

First Holy Communion today.
